I had a meeting this afternoon regarding the science of aging. So no time to cook. I decided to go over and make a dessert for the family.
I chose this recipe because it involved three ingredients that we all like: dates, peanut butter, and chocolate.
It was fun to make. I halved and pitted the dates, then spread them out on top of parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Then I took another sheet of parchment paper and flattened the dates as flat as I could. Next came the peanut butter and the melted chocolate.
I put the cookie sheet in the freezer to harden the peanut butter and chocolate. Came out really good, family liked it.
