I’m cooking for myself more often than I did for the family. Not limited to just Wednesday’s anymore.
Tonight I had about a quarter pound of ground turkey in the freezer and a bag of mixed vegetables I wanted to use. I thought a stir fry would work well.
I was right, it did.
All I needed to decide was what kind of sauce to put on it.
There are so many different kinds of sauce it took a little time to decide. I often tend toward Asian flavors. I like the combination of ginger, garlic, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, and rice vinegar. I almost always have these ingredients in my cupboard since I use this sauce a lot. I could have added peanut butter but I decided not to this time. But I did add about a tablespoon of corn starch so it would thicken. Loved it. Very satisfying meal.
