I had a piece of chicken in the freezer and about a half a cup of mild salsa in the fridge. So I did an experiment. I have a tiny crockpot. In went the frozen chicken, salsa, and about a half a cup of water.
Set the crockpot to high and left it to cook about four hours. At the end I added some parmesan cheese.
It turned out exceptionally good. Very delicious. Chicken was tender and moist, salsa and cheese gave it good flavor.
I’ll do this one again some time.
